Terms of service

Last updated: October 23, 2026

In short: you own your lists, mailboxes and emails; you must follow the law and our acceptable use policy; you can cancel any time.

1. Who we are

SendBright is a service provided by ZenBright ("we", "us"). These terms are an agreement between us and the person or company that creates a SendBright account ("you"). By creating an account or using SendBright you accept these terms.

2. Your account

  • You must give accurate details and keep your password private. You are responsible for everything done in your workspace, including by people you invite.
  • You must be at least 18 and able to enter into contracts for the business you represent.
  • Tell us straight away if you think someone has used your account without permission.

3. Using SendBright

SendBright lets you send emails from mailboxes you own to people on lists you provide. You agree to:

  • follow all laws that apply to your emails, including CAN-SPAM in the United States and the rules of every country you email;
  • follow our acceptable use policy;
  • keep a real postal address in your workspace settings and honour every unsubscribe request;
  • not try to break, overload, copy or reverse-engineer the service.

We may suspend a workspace that breaks these rules or puts our service, our other customers or email providers at risk. Where possible we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.

4. Your mailboxes and content

  • You keep all rights to your lists, emails and replies ("your content"). You give us permission to store and process your content only to provide SendBright to you.
  • You confirm you are allowed to connect each mailbox and to email each person on your lists.
  • We store mailbox passwords and sign-ins encrypted and use them only to send your emails and read replies to them.
  • You can export your content and delete it at any time.

5. Plans and payment

  • New workspaces start with a free 14-day trial. No payment details are needed for the trial.
  • Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, by card through our payment provider Stripe. Prices are shown on our pricing page and may exclude taxes.
  • If a payment fails we will try again and let you know; sending may pause until the payment succeeds.
  • Each plan includes a number of emails per month and active leads. When you reach a limit, sending pauses until the next month unless you upgrade.
  • We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice; the new price applies from your next billing period.

6. Cancelling

You can cancel at any time in Settings. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for, and you will not be charged again. Monthly payments are not refunded; for yearly plans, contact us within 14 days of payment. We may keep a copy of your content for up to 30 days after cancelling so you can come back, then delete it.

7. Availability

We work hard to keep SendBright running and your data safe, but we cannot promise the service will never be interrupted. Email providers decide whether to deliver your emails; we cannot guarantee inbox placement or replies.

8. Liability

SendBright is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. You are responsible for the emails you send and will cover our costs if a claim is made against us because of your emails or your breach of these terms.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is significant we will email workspace owners at least 30 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use SendBright after that means you accept the new terms.
